go cats!!go cats!!With the success this program has seen in recent years and the graduation of an outstanding 2008 class most would look at this season as a rebuilding year. However, we look at the 2009 basketball season with a great deal of excitement along with high expectations. We are, in fact, just reloading!
Booster Club meetings during the season are held every Monday night at 6:00 in the CHS film room.
The Varsity Wildcats are coming off one of the most successful years in the program’s history. A 29-2 record, District 4-5A Championship and State Runner Up finish. However, Clovis had established themselves years prior to being a perennial force. This season should be no different.
The Wildcats return possibly the best player in the state in Jaye Crockett, along with Stefan Mills and Arthur Calbert who have seen extensive action on Wildcat playoff teams. Crockett is a do everything player with skills both in the post and perimeter. Mills has been the Wildcats best defender and will be solid at all the guard spots.
Coach Isler begins his eighth year leading the Wildcats, establishing a 146 – 47 record along the way. He guided the Cats to a 29-2 record last season winning the District 4-5A Championship and finishing as the 5-A State Runner Up. Isler’s teams have established themselves among the elite teams in the State on a consistent basis.

The Clovis Wildcat Basketball Program boasts a tradition that few schools can rival. The boys are coming off of a very exciting 2008 season with their 29-2 record and run to the state championship game. The Wildcat tradition is not something buried in the past - It inspires our team to great heights every season.
