The Wildcat Sponsorship Program is the principal fundraising arm of Wildcat Basketball Program. Your annual donation to the Wildcat Basketball Program directly supports more than 50 student-athletes. Your support also allows the Clovis Wildcats to build and maintain a first-class athletic program that can compete at the highest levels in the State of New Mexico.

The Wildcat Sponsorship Program helps insure that individual student-athletes thrive academically. At Clovis High we recognize that athletic achievement is important, but the ultimate goal is for our student-athletes to graduate and become productive citizens.

Because of the important role that the Wildcat Sponsorship Program plays in the life of the basketball players and in the lives of so many young people, financial support from Wildcat Sponsor members is the cornerstone of Wildcat Athletics. Your support is absolutely critical to the success of our basketball program as well as each individual student-athlete.

Where does the money go?

All money goes the CHS Boys Basketball Program. 

Why do we need to sponsor players?

State and Federal funding cuts are putting extracurricular activities such as athletics in jeopardy.  Athletic programs are considered non essential and therefore are the first budget cuts in some school districts. Your donations will help ensure the junior high and sub varsity programs will stay viable for future Wildcats in Clovis.

Who should I ask to sponsor?

We suggest if possible parents, friends, co-workers and relatives.  Business should not be asked because they often are Super Boosters, sponsor player posters or they are season sponsors.

If we make the assumption there are 50 players in the CHS Basketball Program Varsity through Freshman

If every player in the program could get 5 sponsors at the Purple Cat Level which is  ($10.00 / month), the players would have raised $30,000 for the program.

What if I can't find sponsors will my child be cut from the team?

No child will be cut for not finding a sponsor. However, if we can only find limited sponsors then we will not be able to provide some of the benefits to the kids that the Boys Basketball Boosters and Coach King are wanting to give.
